Now, if you remember my previous Food Journal review, I’ve mentioned about a place called Restoran Dimensi, as one of the places that you might try out if you’re working there and are looking for a good place to eat. In today’s review, we present another option for you – D’Tasty Restaurant, which is somewhat near to the Alor Gajah town central. The block of shop houses that D’Tasty resides in is situated between 2 petrol stations – Caltex and Petronas, so it is kinda difficult to miss it.

Anyways, without further ado, let’s get down to business.

Environment:

Interior 1

To be honest, there’s nothing much to fancy about the interior decorations and stuffs. It’s basically your normally Kopitiam setting.

Menu:

Steamed Jenahak

D’Tasty offers a variety of dishes to order. Some are simple dishes, but they do taste great. My favourite is the Ginger Chicken with Soy Sauce. It’s really difficult a good Ginger Chicken dish out there and this is really something that’s worth checking out. The steamed Jenahak is also excellent, and highly recommended.

Now if you’re a fan of seafood, you might even try the Sweet and Sour Prawns and Squids.

If you’re looking for tofu dishes, you can try out the Tofu with Salty Fish.

Also, you have a variety of vegetable dishes to choose from such as Fried Long Beans & Fried Sawi.

Service:

The service is nothing to shout about, but generally it’s okay. There are waitress and waitresses to assist you in making orders, and also servings.

Conclusion:

D’Tasty is worth checking out. The food is nice, and it is really worth the money that you pay for it.

Final verdict: 7.5/10
